Fashion Photography Portfolio – Outdoor locations

Fashion relies very heavily on strong images to sell well. Fashion photography has to be of a high standard and creative so that it stands out. This portfolio of images has been created in conjunction with various models, makeup artists and designers from Norfolk and Suffolk. It demonstrates a range of different approaches and looks that can be created. Several of the images featured have won awards in international photography competitions with the Societies of Photographers.

Models, designers and makeup artists featured include Amanda Santos, Miss Marie, Cheryl Roach, Claire Kingsmill, Amy Wilks, Shell Sattaur, Danny Dobson. Images were all taken on location in Norwich or around Norfolk.

This first set of images were all taken at night in Norwich city centre. Night fashion photography offers a different look to both studio and daytime shoots. You can often incorporate lovely soft focus lights in the background. It is also a good option for showcasing evening wear, for example.

The beach is another excellent outdoor location for shoots. It can help add a more casual, summer lifestyle feel. Shooting on location has the advantage that the clothes are put into context, making it easier for the buyer.
