Advertising photography has to be eye-catching. Its job is to get people to stop and look. These aren’t the type of shots you would tend to use for listing online products in your shop. That would be more likely to be something like packshot photography. Advertising images are those that you would find in pride of place on your homepage or other key pages. They are the kind of shots that you would put in a magazine or on a roadside advertising board.
