Naked Wines at Norfolk Network
Eamon Fitzgerald, MD of Naked Wines was the guest speaker at the Norfolk Network last night. The venue was the new Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. This eco-friendly building opened just recently and is already proving popular with local businesses as a meeting place and for office space. The networking evening made use of the large lecture theatre and the open foyer area. After introductory brief presentations by John French of Adapt Low Carbon Group, Finbarr Carter of EnterpriseCentral, Evan Hancock of CareersCentral and Chris Elliott of The Benjamin Foundation, Lucy Marks of Norfolk Network introduced Eamon. It was both fascinating and inspiring to hear the story of Naked Wines, especially as they have a base right here in Norfolk. Eamon explained their business model and ethos, which are both very modern and innovative. He issued a challenge to all businesses present to have the happiness of customers and staff as our main objectives, with everything else flowing from there. Lucy then led a short question and answer session. Networking over drinks and canapes followed, with an opportunity to taste some sample wines.
